Part two, (Video 3) introduces the next 5-bars (measures 9 to 13). The melody lines shift through four positions traveling from as low as the 5th position, up to as high as the 8th.

Study the note layout of the melody (5th to 8th position).

  • Learn to play the 5-bar section at the goal tempo (64 b.p.m.)
  • The fourth measure contains a short 32nd-note idea
