Description
Music Theory:
The three primary elements of rhythm, (Meter, Beat, Tempo). An overview of the important elements of written notation.
Music Reading:
Alternate picking drills applied with the eighth note duration. Music reading pieces covering pick-up notes and alternate picking.
Fingerstyle Guitar:
Fretting and Plucking hand synchronization. Two studies are included to help develop the technique for plucking hand fingers.
Rhythm Studies:
Performing alternate picking rhythm drills on the guitar with syncopated rhythms incorporating tied figures.
Fingerboard Harmony:
Introducing the 6th-string root barre chord, (Pattern #4). Studies are supplied for both major and minor chord shape patterns.
